If a lost or stolen laptop, desktop or server is connected to the internet, our server will be notified of the IP address allowing law enforcement to then track down the physical location of the internet connection.
If needed, a command can be automatically run on the computer when it connects to the internet. This command will start deleting the data on the hard drive(s). Real life testing on random computers with this command made the computers inoperable within 5 - 10 seconds.
