Insurance
Every industry and profession has specific technology needs that it confronts daily. We’ve managed to name a few of the more common here, but we are prepared to find a solution to fit whatever requirements you have.

Web Presence with Secure Email and XML Capability
Your agency’s success in attracting new prospects and retaining existing customers will increasingly depend upon a useful, attractive web site. A professionally designed and built web site makes a positive statement about your agency not only by providing information to a prospective client but by offering a sure means by which customers can quickly and easily communicate with you.
Your clients will expect you to communicate with them almost instantly and email or instant messaging offers that. Secure email transmission with reliable receipt confirmation and returned undeliverable technology ensure your clients receive the data they want in a timely yet secure manner.
XML (Extensible Mark-up Language) has been called the data sharing language of the future. XML uses tags similar to most mark-up languages but differs from HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language, the standard web design language) in that it can actually share data with other entities on the web.

Securing/Destroying Confidential Consumer Information
As consumers begin to demand more information online, the pressure to provide secure access to specific data will also increase. Security can be improved greatly by the use of up-to-date firewall and encryption technology to control access to sensitive information.
The final Rule adopting HIPAA standards for the security of electronic health information was adopted by the United States Department of Health and Human Services in February, 2003. A specific section on Physical Safeguards was added to cover the disposal of electronic PHI. Computer drives must be thoroughly wiped prior to reuse or reassignment, and before a drive is discarded, sold, or donated. Drives are also commonly wiped as a risk management measure and in order to comply with various government and other regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.

Vendor Management
Many companies offer IT solutions to the insurance agent and their agencies, but sifting through the many IT outsourcing companies and finding one that serves the specific needs of your company takes time away from your customers. Plus, picking the wrong supplier can cost you money. By evaluating your needs and combining it with our technical expertise we can pinpoint the right vendor for your specific needs while leaving you free to mind your own business. We will even manage the ongoing relationship and interaction with the vendors if you would like, thus making sure you do not have to deal with any confusing or technical questions or problems.

Internet Connectivity
Small businesses require economical connectivity solutions that are reliable and always or nearly always available. For many companies, xDSL or cable solutions will meet your needs. For those businesses requiring additional bandwidth and reliability, we will be able to meet your needs with fractional T-1’s and up. We will work with you to determine what your connectivity needs are and then work with the various vendors to get the best package for you.
