RTP Computer Services, Inc. Joins TriangleWIT’s Seminar on Women and Entrepreneurship

Durham, NC — October 29, 2004 — RTP Computer Services, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor of the TriangleWIT seminar "Women, Entrepreneurship & Networking".

TriangleWIT is the Triangle chapter of WorldWIT (http://www.worldWIT.org/"), the leading global network for women in business and technology. It provides resources to support the advancement of women in their careers and daily life. Members can use the local WorldWIT discussion groups to find new jobs or job candidates; seek referrals for contractors and freelancers; and ask for technical, financial or career information and advice.

The half day seminar, hosted by Meredith College in Carswell Auditorium, will be an informative event focused on current business owners and those interested in starting their own businesses. There will be several speakers at the event including: Jennifer Terry, Vice President of Women's Marketing at RBC Centura Bank; Lisa Inman, attorney, Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton; Verona Edmund, Director, Women's Business Center; Janet Ryan, President, Ryan/Whiteman Consulting; and Scott Dougherty, Director, Small Business & Technology Development Center. Also, a panel consisting of successful members of TriangleWIT will share advice about starting and growing a small business in North Carolina.
